Utility Point

Utility Point went bust on the 14th September 2021 affecting 220,000 customers. Get a full list of energy suppliers that have gone bust here.

One of the newest suppliers to enter the market, Utility Point was launched in 2018 to provide an affordable, transparent and reliable energy supply along with a dedicated and efficient service. It aims to help customers take control of their energy use, promote energy efficiency and release less carbon into the atmosphere and keep more money in their pockets.

It also offers fixed rate deals to protect against price rises - offering some of the cheapest energy deals available - and has a benefits scheme, called Utility Points Rewards, that gives customers discounts at some shops, restaurants and online stores.

Utility Point aims to transform the customer utility experience, and now provides energy to around 100,000 customers. It has reasonable customer service scores, ahead of the Big Six energy suppliers, but behind other larger suppliers like Ovo Energy and Octopus Energy.

Who owns Utility Point?

Utility Point is an independent, privately owned energy supplier based in Poole, with six directors listed on Companies House.

Why switch to Utility Point?

Customers also report that Utility Point's energy bills are accurate and easy to understand.
